Dr. Ethan Madison is a third-year periodontology resident at UAB School of Dentistry with a passion for improving oral health through clinical excellence, research, and service. His interests in periodontal plastic surgery, implantology, regeneration, and prevention are paired with leadership in health initiatives and dental education. Dr. Madison is conducting longitudinal research via the Dental Implant Restoration Registry on the correlation of surgical, restorative, and patient-factors with peri-implant bone loss. Through work in organized dentistry, community outreach, and research, Dr. Madison aims to lead change extending beyond the clinic. In 2025, he was recognized by the AAP Foundation as the recipient of the Dr. Mark. K. Setter Leadership in Periodontology and Dental Implantology Award. After completion of his residency, Dr. Madison will practice in Beverly Hills, CA and the Los Angeles area.
